By now you may have heard about the leaked conversation between German military officers discussing British and American troops on the ground in Ukraine, among other NATO secrets.

In case you haven’t, here’s a very brief recap:

A German military officer used an unsecured line for a conference call about military moves in NATO (related to Ukraine).

Russia hacked and leaked it.

Stupidly, the WebEx call that these high-ranking military officers used had all the security of a 1980s teen party line.

Heck, one of the officers was using an unsecured hotel Wi-Fi network to dial into the conference call!

The big revelation was that the US and UK have troops on the ground in Ukraine [in some form].

And my first thought was, “Of course we do. Why wouldn’t we?”

Worried about escalation? We’re well beyond that after giving Ukraine HIMARS, Patriots, Abrams, and F-16s, don’t you think?

Here, I’ll make the case for why I believe we have US Army Special Forces Green Berets in Ukraine right now.

Ukraine is the PERFECT environment for Green Berets
