Ukraine’s Bradleys Get Hot New Anti-Drone Armor

The American-made M2A2 Bradley has already proven itself in Ukraine as a tough, reliable infantry fighting vehicle. It has shrugged off mines, taken RPG hits, and lived to fight another day.

Hell, it’s even gone toe-to-toe with a T-90 and won the engagement decisively.

But today, the threat has evolved beyond Soviet-era weapon systems… now, it’s drones. Cheap, buzzing, suicidal drones.

That’s why Ukrainian engineers at a company called Iron Nuts have rolled out a specialized add-on armor package, designed specifically to keep Bradleys alive against Shahed drones and FPV kamikazes.

Known as Tower 1, the kit combines a rigid steel frame with mesh screens that disrupt the shaped charges used in modern munitions. Think of it as chainmail for tanks, except it’s been battle-tested and already shown to work in combat.

The 47th Mechanized Brigade now fields Bradleys equipped with this armor, and there’s already a Tower 2 prototype in the works. While the details are secret, it’s safe to assume…
