Ukraine Uses Secret Weapon to Destroy 26 Russian Helicopters in a Single Day

But what was it? Let’s investigate…

A few days ago, President Zelenskyy told RBC-Ukraine that they had used a secret weapon system to destroy 26 Russian military helicopters in a single day, as well as 12 planes.

During a press conference with journalists in Latvia last week, Zelenskyy said:

“Partners have provided us with some long-range weapons. I won’t say what, but our partners will understand. With it, we destroyed 26 helicopters in a day.”

An incredible claim, to be sure.

If true, (and I’m still in the process of verifying), it means that Ukraine has access to a new weapon system, likely from the U.S., UK, or Germany, that can swat Russian aircraft at a greater distance than Ukraine could previously.

It’s worth noting that Newsweek approached the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) to inquire about the 26-helicopter claim, and AFU said they have not taken out any Russian helicopters since October 19, when they said they destroyed one.

So, it’s unclear if the 26 referenced by Zelenskyy were destroyed recently but were previously undisclosed, or if they were destroyed over three months ago.

Regardless, you can’t say the words “mystery weapon” and not have my ears perk up… I love a challenge, especially in the realm of military weapon systems.
