Ukraine Sniper Nears World Record by Killing Russian 1.68 Miles Away

The longest recorded sniper kill is held by a Canadian sniper (name withheld) in May of 2017 at 3,540 meters or 2.19 miles. The Canadian was serving in Joint Task Force 2 and was in Iraq at the time of the kill and shot an ISIS militant.

Now, Ukraine claims one of its snipers took out a Russian soldier at a distance of 1.68 miles (2,710 meters)…
