Ukraine Deploys Rare Copperhead Artillery, Turns Russian Bunker Into Rubble

Ukraine has officially confirmed what military analysts have been suspecting for months: US-supplied M712 Copperhead laser-guided artillery shells are now in active use on the battlefield.

And judging by the footage, they’re making quite an impact.

A Ukrainian strike in the occupied Kherson region took out a fortified Russian bunker using one of these Cold War-era, laser-guided shells.

The video evidence, published by Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov on January 29, shows what can best be described as a Russian stronghold turning into a very expensive crater.

The WarArchive project identified the target as a Russian fortification in Hola Prystan, proving once again that occupying Ukrainian territory comes with some very serious occupational hazards.
