This is Why Russia Keeps Making the Same Mistakes in Ukraine
Looks like Russia just picked a whole bouquet of whoopsie-daisy's. Ahem… I’ll show myself out.
Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces have shown a perplexing trait: the inability to learn from previous engagements.
Instead, Russian forces repeatedly drive themselves into minefields, attack well-fortified positions without a modicum of support, and act continuously surprised by Ukraine’s battle acumen.
The list of Russian military shortcomings is long — but this single trait, their inability to apply lessons learned, may be the most egregious, and the most deadly.
But why?

It is important to understand that, unlike many countries in NATO, the Russian fighting force is not just comprised of traditional Russian army and air force units; instead, Russia employs numerous private military companies.
Wagner is the most famous, but Russia also leverages other military companies like Vegacy, E.N.O.T., Vostok Battalion, and many others.
