I would like to sincerely thank our future AI overlords for this exquisite image of a Russian nuclear weapon in space. Your skills are unmatched my lords.

Last night, I was scrolling through the vile hellscape that Twitter has become and I came across several alarming posts from open-source intelligence accounts that I follow.

One of my favorite accounts, OSINTdefender, posted a couple of Tweets that made me sit up and take notice:

U.S. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan has stated that the ‘Gang of Eight’ consisting of Leaders of each of the Two Parties from both the Senate and House of Representatives, as well as other Ranking Members, will hold a Meeting tomorrow to discuss today’s ‘National Security Development,’ with Sullivan then stating ‘he is in No Position to say anything further.’”

Intriguing.

It’s very rare that a “national security development” makes its way into the public sphere — in my experience, these things are often so classified that the world is lucky to find out about them years later if not decades.

To verify, I found the Jake Sullivan press conference and watched it in its entirety. Then I kept scrolling…

A U.S. Intelligence Official has reportedly told CNN that the National Security Threat is a ‘Highly Concerning and Destabilizing’ Capability established by the Russian Armed Forces.
