Insane Video Shows Russia Shooting Down Their Own Secret Drone
The wreckage has been shipped off to the United States for analysis. This could be an intelligence windfall for the US and its allies.
It’s not every week that Russia’s supposedly fifth-generation fighter (the Sukhoi Su-57 Felon), which has been largely absent in the Ukraine war, shoots down Russia’s secretive S-70 Okhotnik-B (Hunter-B) flying wing unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV).
All this ‘red on red’ violence is giving me flashbacks to the Prigozhin uprising.
What’s worse [for Russia] is that they are believed to have had only two Hunter-Bs built under their “loyal wingman” program.
So, what is the Hunter-B and why did Russia shoot down its own bird over Ukraine?
Let’s analyze!
But first, check out this crazy video:
The engagement occurred near Konstantynivka, in Donetsk, reportedly around 10 miles behind Ukrainian lines.
The Sukhoi S-70 Hunter-B is a Russian heavy UCAV that was co-developed during the 2010s by Sukhoi and MiG.
