I quit reading my comments for this very reason and it makes me incredibly sad for all of the good discussions with readers that I’m missing out on. My writing is no longer a conversation between myself and my readers. Now, it’s just me speaking through a radio that can only transmit. Thanks for writing this. I don’t see any easy solutions here. Death threats will never be acceptable, but short of that, we all must decide how much abuse we’re willing to take before we start to disengage. Be safe.
