Hi Aaron! Even though I eat late, I don’t typically hit the sack until about 2–3 am. So that gives me 4–5 hours for the food to digest. I believe my GERD was primarily from my excess weight.

I would say I’m eating about 2000–3000 calories for my single meal. Occasionally I’ll have a bowl of ice cream after dinner which no doubt adds a ton of unhealthy calories.

The most amazing thing that I found is that my single meals are small portions. I eat extremely slow and get full very fast. I went out to eat last night at a steakhouse here in Grand Rapids and was embarrassed because I couldn't even finish an 8oz filet.
