Europe’s Largest Nuclear Plant “Out of Control” as Russians Store Ammo On-site

As if this Russian shit-show couldn’t get any worse, the Russian military is now occupying Europe’s largest nuclear power plant — the Zaporizhzhia plant in the southern Ukraine steppe, on the Dnieper River.

The plant is about 340 miles southeast of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.

Google Maps.

The head of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, recently told Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger that communications with the nuclear plant’s key safety areas are “faulty” and “contradictory.”

A Russian-installed official in Ukraine said this week that Ukrainian troops had repeatedly used Western arms to attack the plant.

Yeah, I call bullshit.

Ukrainians are smart enough to avoid shooting at their own occupied nuclear power plant, no matter how many Russian supplies may be stored there.

According to Al Jazeera, Grossi said the plant “is completely out of control” and that the supply chain of equipment and spare parts has been interrupted “so we are not sure the plant is getting all it needs”.

What’s more, the UN needs to perform inspections to ensure that nuclear material is being safeguarded.
